    Hi Louise

Have a good read through this thread, it will answer most of your questions.

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...claimants.html

You should start by getting a copy of your Credit Agreement first, to make sure you did actually tick the box on the Agreement. Some people have found that the Agreement itself was found to Unenforcable, due to the incorrect form, signatures etc. . Have a look at the CCA thread for more information.

    Thanks UK.

Had another quick look - is this the letter I need to send off to Halifaxicon

    Dear ,

    Re:- Loan Account No. xxxxxxxxxxx

With reference to the above agreement, I would be grateful if you would send me a copy of this credit agreement.

I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Sections 77-79), I am entitled to receive a copy of our credit agreement on request. I enclose a payment of £1.00 which represents the fee payable under the Consumer Credit Act.

I understand a copy of our credit agreement should be supplied within 12 working days.

I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with a request for a copy of the agreement under these sections of the Act.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours sincerely,
Also, Both my single loans (of 5k each) have now been moved to One loan, will this pose any problems at all!?

Or do I need to send of 2 letters for each of my single loans back then, and another letter to cover this new loan. Or just One letter with the new account number:S
    Sorry if thats confusing.
    Louise
