    Default Help getting bond back!

    hi

i paid £500 bond when i first moved into my rented house. about 2 months ago the landlord made me move out because he wanted to sell the place. the problem is he will not give me back my bond and says he has taken it to pay for all the damage that i caused. the thing is i never caused any damage and has made it all up to pay for the damage that was there when i moved in. he seal all the windows with paint and in the summer the house was unbearable as it got very hot and stuffy inside so i pealed the paint off so i could open them not knowing that they sealed them on purpose. he said i cracked the bath when it was already slightly cracked when i moved in. the banister fell off in my hand was i was walking down the stairs and was already falling off + had charged me for that. also someone smashed one of the small windows on the front door from trying to break into the house at 4am. when i woke u and realised at 9am i rang the police and tried to get hold of the landlord but he was on holidayicon but still notified him of what happened, but the landlord is charging me for the damage saying i caused it.

i have rang citizens advice but its been 3 weeks and nothing has been done. i have rang the landlord many times and have left messages but he will not call me back.

could someone please advice me on what to do as i cannot let him take my money when i did not cause any damage.

    thanx

    Questions first before answers
Did you sign an inventory when you moved into the property?
