Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I tried to find out on this website and from Google but am going crazy!
I was soooo close to winning from Barclays, but they filed at last minute, now bloody courts have agreed to stay case, blah blah blah, and I have 14 days to reply.
So, I've used parts of templates and written my own request to court to remove stay, but I cant find out what the chances of them actually listening to me is, or if they will be one of the blanket stay courts etc.
Unfortunately, all claims filed via MCOL (and most county courts) are being stayed at the moment due to the OFT test case. More information can be found on this by clicking on the links at the top of my signature.
If your claim is with Barclays, I'd advise you to start a new thread in the Barclays forum as you'll receive advice and support specific to Barclays in that forum.
With regards to the stay, click on the link in my signature for applying to have it lifted - but make sure that you put your case forward and make the template as personal to your own case as you possibly can.
