A&L Small Claims case in N Ireland

Received the standard Defence papers from Wragge yesterday.

The had until 5th September to respond and the defence looks the same as that most people receive.

Will I now get a letter from Court stating the case has been stayed ? There is no mention of them requesting it be stayed in the defence. Surely filing a defence is a contradiction to a stay.

Should I wait a letter from Court and then appeal the stay or what other action should I take ?

Have any NI readers had any response at all from A&L in the past week or so re their case ?

Not sure about the NI aspect but so far we dont seem to have seen individual requests for stays from A&L - maybe because they are not part of the OFT case? If you get a request for stay from the court you may not have to pay a fee to appeal.I would wait and see what happens at the moment and keep reading threads here and on successes forum (at the top) to see what happens in each individual case.
