I received an offer from RBS back in July for my claim £2k, they offered the full amount so I accepted and returned the form the asked me to complete.
A week later I received another letter and another form to complete for another account which I had claimed on which I had also accepted their offer on £1k. However I've still not received another letter or the cash for the first letter I sent off.
I phoned the bank a couple of weeks ago and they said all the subsequent offer letters were being sorted and should be out by the end of the week, well I'm still waiting!!!
I thought the bank had to honour any offers that were made before the test case was announced?
The Ombudsman says they have 8 weeks to sort out my complaint, by which time their offer will no longer be valid....
