Thread: Reverse Stay

I was actually wondering if the upcoming test case can be used to keep those creditors chasing for debt, based on charges, off ones back. If they want to go to court to recover the money, could we request a stay pending the outcome of the test case?:idea:

You can but try.
You would have a strong case if the chased debt is completely (or more) unlawful charges.
Always worth making the DCA aware that the account is in dispute with the original creditor anyway.
