Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

Get in touch with them immediately. Ask them to freeze the interest and discuss a minimum monthly payment that can be afforded. Make sure it is affordable. You will need income and expenditure details.
You need to be polite and firm and have their permission to act on their behalf. Cut the card (s) up and return them. Confirm everything in writing and keep copies of the correspondence.
Please post and update us. People on here will keep you on the right track. I will post some other useful links later.
Do this first then tackle the credit charges.
Good luck!!
