Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
This is my second attempt at trying to claim back charges from A+L so I don't wanna screw up here, I'm just wondering if anyone can help.
I've had my statements returned and am now looking at sending the second letter with my claim back but there at the bottom of the letter it mentions I should include a schedule of charges. Is there a template for me to put the charges on or do I just send off the statements highlighting each charge? I did the latter last time and when they rejected it had nowhere to go as they had all my orginal statments.
Since my first attempt A+L have closed my account too. Which wasn't very nice.
If you go to section FAQ and then there is a section step by step instructions - in here you should find a link to the spread sheets to help you
At the lba stage you do not show the 8% S69 interest - just hide that column.
You are aware that all court cases at the moment are being stayed?
We are all fighting and the advice is to carry on with process as you will be top of the pile when the test case is resolved .

You will probably have some further questions, so just ask.
We are all proceeding!
Any advice given by me is based solely on my experience in claiming, my experience in CAG or my opinion. I have no legal background. I want to encourage others to reclaim what is theirs.
Got a DCA breaking OFT guidance. Complain to the OFT about the DCA. Help put an end to these practices-
Hi im maybe a bit thick here!! But what u's mean by the acounts being stayed??? Ive just got my statements through so should i hold off for something??
it means in theory the banks have asked for all cases to be postponed untill the hearing referred to in the thread above - on the thread it says carry on at the moment and get your complaint in and registered - so carry on with all the steps at the moment - you have along way to go yet anyway.
keep reading step by step instructions to make sure you follow the correct proceedure.

I don't mean to come across stupid but when I send the letter to reclaim my charges, do I include my original statements the sent me or do I transfer them to another sheet? The first time I tried to reclaim I sent my statements off and they refused and kept my statements meaning I had to start again.
