Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just an encouragement to guys out there that might have a claim already in court before the test case.
I went to court on 22nd of August 2007 (Wed).
Met with Barclays solicitor & said he was going to apply for a stay, which he did in court. The judge asked what I had to say to that and I said:
1. I have put in my claim way before the test case was decided
2. Barclays did not submit any bundle to be used as evidence
The judge agreed with me & the Barclays dude asked for adjournment but was refused. The judge then sent us outside to make negotiations for 5-10 mins.
Lo and behold, I was offered full settlement with other expenses paid.
Here you go, this is my "give back" to the forum as other posts have been supportive in the past and I have obtained templates from here.
Great result and of course an encouragement to everyone here.
Is it possible you could just do a brief history of your start to finish ?
Well done
