Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Yesterday I received a letter from A&L regarding my claim. They stated that there is a test case underway and that they will not be paying back any charges until this test case has been finalized. They said that it could take up to a year. Anybody else get this letter? What do I do from here?

Hiya's Mey
I recieved the same letter today (24th Aug) just after i had rung Romford county court where my case has been transferred to, they said that the court is not granting any stays and that i will have a court day in a few weeks at most, if you have not done so already i would ring the court just to see if the court where your case will be tried is going to grant any stays.
If you havent heard anything else by after the Bank holiday, give the court a ring. A+L are sending that letter to everyone persuing their money back. They are just intimidating you, totally ignore it!
Best of luck
