Hello,
Did anyone have any success in claiming from style card?I too would have a claim.......sent my DPA yesterday.....but just wondered if actually anyone had any success....and which adress they used...and so on.
I did search the Forum, but didn't find much about it.
I sent a dpa request to Style some time ago, which was completely ignored, as was my follow up letter. This is now the subject of a formal complaint to the ICO. I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi and thanks robertxc,
in my initial DPA letter i authorised them to charge the £10 to my account, which they ignored.Yesterday i received a letter of them asking me to send a cheque of £10 (which i have done now, although i authorised them to charge it to account),and once that has cleared they will send the statements out to me.
In my reply i told them that the 40 days started when i first contacted them about it,and not once a cheque clears.
Hell.........i could wait a lifetime then,couldn't i?!
Good Luck with your claim and let me know how you get on.
received a letter today with copys of statements and printouts concerning my account.Charges total up to £105!
Not the best of my claims
I think i will leave that one for now until i got some of my cash back from the others,as i have £700 still to pay on Style, and can't really afford to do that in one go if they get stubborn because of a claim.
Any updates? I too am claiming but hardly any info on this site to comapre my claim to re: style card. I am at lba stage now after receiving a s*d off reply to my pre-lim. I see an MCOL in the not too distant future

Oh, I did have one of these! My first adventure into the world of credit was with a small Style account with a £200 limit. I did actually consider pursuing this one as I'm sure they owe me at least enough for a tank of petrol and some groceries.
Tell me, was it the Guild Hall, Glasgow address you have used for correspodence?
I'm also pursuing Style. They actually responded pretty sharply to my Data protection Act letter, although, I'd included a cheque in that letter and I think they just responded quickly to make an extra tenner for themselves! I've sent my Preliminary Approach for Repayment Letter almost two weeks ago and am sending my letter before action tomorrow.
I'm only after them for £90 (£100 including that tenner - grrr!) - but the main thing is that they've put a big red mark on my Credit Record. I'm taking them to court for that, just for the slight chance that I could get the default removed. I know I haven't get the strongest case here, but I'd rather try and fail than not try!
My thread is in the RBOS forum if you're interested in keeping watch on my case.
Hope all goes well for you too

I have filed an MCOL and they have acknowledged it. will let you know what happens next! Maybe we could all stick to this thread (or copy and paste from our thread) to keep it easy to track as there are very few Style claims on here.
What do you think?

I think Style should have their own forum under RBOS. Barclaycard are in a sub-forum under Barclays, so surely Style should go under a sub-forum in RBOS, as they're ran by RBOS.

I'm sending my Court Claim Forms out next Friday. Had a right nasty tw*t from Style phone me today, being all mean and nasty, telling me to get stuffed and that I won't win. Evil Style.

MCOL is the term for Money Claim On Line. If you don't want to submit your court claim that way then you can fill out a form and take it to your local court, I just find it easier to do it through MCOL as you can log in and track your claim. They have acknowledged my claim but I haven't heard anything from them yet. I think Style should have a sub forum too but as there a few threads on Style the mods haven't made a sub forum. Maybe if they read this they can move our threads for us?

I have put in a suggestion in the 'Comments and Suggestions' forum - No-one seems to be replying to me at the moment. I think they've all had enough of hearing from me today! Will let you know if they create the sub-forum so you can request to have your thread moved if you like.
