is hfc still paying out after the oft announcment

Hi i have another claim to start with HFC i was wondering if they are still paying out claims since the oft announcment on 27th july.

The claim im gogin to pout in is for charges on a loan account?

The OFT announcement and waiver only applies to bank current accounts, not Credit Cards or Loan accounts.

Does this mean that we cannot start new claims against any bank?

You can start any new claims you want, but don't expect any meaningful response from the Banks. Nothing changes really.

Thanks curlyben. My son-in-law was about to start cliaming from HSBC icon

but when he read the article in the Daily Mail yesterday he said it would be a waste of time. What do you think.

I'd go for it. We still get success stories here don't we? Bad news not good, sells newspapers in my opinion.
