Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am one of the unfortunate ones who has been helping everyone else sort their claims and left mine and now I am having to wait
Can you confirm, if my overdraft on my alliance and leicester account is the same as my charges amount, that they are able to keep adding on the £5 a month for the use of my overdraft? It just that with this new test case now that is going to be another £50 atleast on top.
HI Geeksta , well done on helping everyone else, that's a very selfless thing to do.
You could never have known about the test case happening could you? This may or may not slow or delay you at all, It may become the norm for judges to stay claims based on the test case, but until then carry on regardless with your claim.
I cant help with your question on the £5 a month for the use of your overdraught. The most important part I know, sorry. Someone will help!
Thanks for that - I had started mine through the Financial Od. as it is free and they sent me everything back saying that A&L will keep me in the loop all the way re the test case. Had read on other threads about CCA them, but not sure if to do that route as yet.
If anyone does know about whether they can keep charging me the £5 a month then great as if they cant because the account is in dispute then I will CCA them.
