    Default Bearing V Lloyds

Sent off my S. A. R. last week, it was received at Swallow Street Birmingham on the 24th.

Obviously the OFT test case won't affect the statements being sent out to me, but what is my next step after totalling my charges, do I proceed as normal and send in my complaint so as to get my foot on the ladder.

So many questions before the news of the OFT case, even more now. My heads in a complete spin....

Just a quick update, Lloydsicon received my S.A.R on the 24th of July, but the cheque still hasn't cleared. Do you think it may be down to the vast amount of S.A.Rs they are receiving or something to do with the test case?

    Hi
It's probably due to them being extremely busy. If you don't receive anything by 40 (calender) days, send this (the links does work):

    Error

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Well they've got 12 days left before the 40 day deadline and still the cheque has not cleared!

Have they all gone on holidayicon thinking the stay relates to requesting statements aswell?

This is normal for Lloydsicon. I waited 40 days and recieved nothing. Sent Non compliance letter and recieved within 3 days.

I was fortunate to win my case on the day of the OFT test case announcement.

Good Luck and have your non compliance letter ready for despatch on day 40 if you haven't recieved by then.

    Good luck

    Kindest regards

    Dee

Received a summary of charges on day 39!!

Just sending preliminary letter along with my schedule of charges.

One question I have, do I have to use my nearest court or can I use another local court. I live in Stafford and the water is quite muddy on how they are proceeding with cases, but I know that Stoke on Trent are going case by case. So would I be able to use Stoke or do I have to stick with Stafford?
