    Lightbulb Cardiff August 14th A&L

    Hello all

I my court date for directions in cardiff on the 14th was wondering if anyone else is gonna be there? 'er indoors rang the court today to check if ours is stayed due to the test case but we were told apparently its going ahead as planned Was toying with the idea of ringing their litigation team to see if they wanna settle has anyone else tried this recently? and if so any luck?

    Cheers

Hi there Nickieee, there's about 200+ cases listed for Cardiff on that day, I know of a few members in the HSBCicon forums who will be attending, plus some from Lloydsicon and other banks. I'll be there too, supporting fellow CAGicon members.
Some of us are keeping in touch via the welsh meet thread.. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...sh-meet-6.html feel free to join in

Thanks for the info from the court, it's good to know they are still going ahead, the Judge is a very nice guy, I was lucky enough to witness him in action last year.

Good luck, I'm sure you will get your money back soon

EDIT: There's also a dedicated thread here: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ings-post.html

    Hi Nickieee,
I spoke to Lloydsicon solicitors yesterday after someone posted on my thread that they had settled. No joy for me though - and now my case has been put on hold (also in Cardiff for 14th August). I closed down my bank account with Lloyds about 18 months ago because the charges were swallowing up any money going in so maybe that why they won't settle with me. Maybe you'll have more joy.
    Good luck!

    confused

who put your case on hold? the court or the solicitors.

As far as I am aware if the case is in the system only the court judge can decide - so you should have official papers from them before you consider it "on hold"
