Hello
Barclaycard have paid about 25% of my claim for mastercard and visa. Should I make I make 2 separate claims through money claim online?
I have added 8% to both cards.I heard that banks were not going to settle any claims until the conclusion of the High Court case, so wondered if I should delay my claim.
Please can someone advise?
[I have typed a letter accepting part payment without prejudice, but not sent it to Barclaycard yet!] Kind Regards pinadagolf

Thankyou so much for the really useful posts, I have read so much in various threads, Iwill wait now to see what the result of the High Court is!!
I have Scottish Terrier, I so enjoyed reading about the Westie!!

Some of the threads are really great.

The current OFT action is only in relation to "personal current account arrangement". In the action the OFT are obtaining "a representative selection of the historic Relevant Terms and Relevant Charges of each bank of a kind which are in dispute in the county court claims referred to in paragraph B of the recital".
Credit Card agreements do not fall within the scope of these proceedings, and credit card terms and conditions will not be a part of the consideration. As far as I can see there is nothing that will prejudice your rights to pursue Barclaycard (though I am not a solicitor and that is just my understanding)

I don't think the OFTs decision to take the Banks to High Court does not impact Credit Cards as these are not "personal current account arrangements"
Ditto..
Go kick their butts, kick it hard, and kick it now....
Thankyou Macie, Iwill go ahead and file a claim!! Barclaycard seem to pay out a fraction of everyones claim until we take them to court.
Here goes!!! Keep you all posted!
