    Default Chemist Complaints

My Mother has been having problems with our surgeries dispensing chemist over the past few weeks. She is on a lot of medication and they have frequently handed her abag of mediaction with her name on it, but its contents was someone else's medication, or they have issued her filled her prescription...short of stuff, and most recently when some very important tablets were not included at all she rang and spoke to them and they said they would get another script for her, but told the GP that she must be over dosing her tabs cos they did issue it to to her!!!!!!

Now that is a blatant fib, amd they seem to be collecting scripts, filling them short and obviously claiming the full amount from the authority for the original script.

What can i do and who can I complain to?

    This must be illegal....surely?

Boots the chemist were sued years ago for the exact same thing, they prescribed a relative of mine the wrong medication and as a result her daughter was born with disabilities, specialists at GOSH ruled that if she had taken the drug only days before her daughter would have been severely brain damaged and would probably not have survived. When this happened a complaint was made to the pharmaceutical society by her solicitor.

I've become addicted to green blobs (I have 2 now) so feel free to tip my scales if I ever make sense.;-)
