Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
After making a claim of £882 plus interest i have been credited £284. This i refused and gave them premission to remove it, but then i received a letter saying this was the difference between my past charges, and the current £12 charge. This they say is a fair charge, and I have heard somewhere about £12 being about right. Should i continue with my claim or just accept it?

Re: Barclaycard offer fair?
Yup, reject it.
Thank them for the part payment which is accepted only on the understanding that you will be pursuing them for the balance through the smal claim system.
You will get ALL your money back, dont worry, they just try it on with every claim to see how much you know.
Dont forget you now have 170,000 new CAG mates to back you up now.
Have heard about the high court test case. I was wondering whether to continue, or to see the outcome. Also are credit card charges relevant to this case, or is the test case just about overdraft charges. I have also exceeded my own cut off date will I have to start again?
