The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
It went to a garage where they replaced an electrical seal and also the Gearbox Radiator...£310
1 week later the gearbox was still leaking....the car went back to the garage....
They returned it with no explanantion to my wife of what they had done.
Upon looking underneath the car it was still leaking.....due to the under tray I acn't actually see the gearbox.
I took it to another garage and they said it looks like the gearbox sump is leaking....
The original garage did return one call but missed me, but said to my wife for a another £120 they would replace the gearbox ECU and that would cure the problem....
I did ring again but they never got back to me as promised
I have not paid them any money, so i still owe them £310. but as the car is still leaking I am reluctant to pay.
What are the chances of getting 3 separate leaks in your your gearbox at once..
Does anyone know where I stand with payment etc..trading standards..
