Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi,
We all know you shouldn't really sign your letters if you can help it. Sometimes though they will need some sort of signature before they enter into correspondence. There is nothing wrong or unlawful and in fact is recognised as being lawful Clicky
I now only sign what I absolutely have to with pen.
Here's what a digital signature looks like:
You would have to resize it or reduce it in your doucument.
Here is what it looks like in a finished document:
It looks a lot better once printed.
And here is a link to the website to create you own: Signature Creator
Nice touch i found the same site the other week and have tryed the signeture out a few times since, although as you say it can't be used on legal documentation, ie house deeds or similar, also the CAG stickers are good to have, got mine from this site two weeks back and have used them on my letters to the bank to re-claim charges, rest gone in draw for any furture need.

What I have done up to now is sign on a white piece of paper, scan it to my HD, resize, and add it to my letterhead template. Also done it for daughter and friends whose claims I am handling (but only ever do it for someone you REALLY trust! My daughter and friends do, obviously. ), so I don't have to ask them for a signature every time I need to send off another letter.
Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.
A couple of tips.
Size: I would use 36 and above.
Pen Width: I use thick as it reduces better.
Once created right click and save. You may need to crop the image.
Another good site which uses a guide through wizard to help you is My Live signature
I recommend this one if you are a novice.
I have a font called 'Disgusting Behaviour' - it could have been made for writing to DCAs...
Another tip for deterring scan, cut and paste artistes is to make a shaded box to sign in; hard to scan clearly, and will be obvious if pasted into a document, especially if the signature goes over the edges of the box.
"To love unconditionally is the greatest gift, laughter is a close second" .To give your time to help others after being helped here is the best way to show your appreciation to your fellow CAG members.
Please note that this advice is given informally, without liability and without prejudice. Seek the advice of an insured qualified professional if you have any doubts. All my knowledge has been gained here, for which I'm very grateful. I'm a Journalist, not a law professional.
If you do PM, make sure to include a link to your thread as I don't give out advice in private BB 13 - DCAs/banks and solicitors 0.
I get a fresh start to get on with learning to live with severe disabilities when they could have had something if they'd been understanding...

Yes you can do it with fonts, I use a signature creator as it gives a "genuine" feel.
Liberate is not a native font and has to be installed manually usually.
Here goes:
Download your font. Liberate can be found HERE or any font you find. This WEBSITE is good for handwritten fonts.
Once downloaded remember where you saved it.
Go to Control Panel.
Go to Fonts.
You will see a window with loads of fonts in. Go to File at the top.
Add New Font.
Should now work with word.
It would be nice to see your digital signature on some cobbled together agreement from some of the pondlife. Love to hear them explain that to the judge

I am NOT a legal or financial expert. There are many CAG members and staff who are better qualified. Please do not make major decisions based on my advice alone.
I am an absolute dope when it comes to typing on comp. I last did ten paged letter of complaint and accidently pressed delete some how!! How would you do a signature in a box for instance if you use microsoft works word processor.
P.S. DO NOT add the CAG logo to your letters!! It's copyrighted.
This is where I normally place my sticker.
how a about a "friend of CAG" logo that members could use?
i would be honoured to use it
... shows you can't be bullied
... plus free advertising for the CAG.
you could even have a comp for the best design.
