Hi,
I am so new to this, I am claiming £1100 from A&L and have received a General form of Judgement or Order, ordering me to "file and serve a Breakdown schedule of sums claimed." I am unsure of what they want and I obviously want to get it right as i have come so far, I would appreciate any advice or help you can offer, especially what they are looking for and how to set it out!!
Thank again, you are all full of such good advice!!
Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
Welcome -can you go to FAQ in red and then step by step instructions(all at top of forum) - and then come back with a brief summary of which of the steps you have actually done and who your letter is from ?
its sounds like you need to complete the spreadsheet itemising your claim - but we need to know a bit more.
then we will try and help you
thanks
jan
Please note I am not an expert - I am not offering opinions or legal help - Please use all the information provided on the site in FAQ- step by step instructions and library- thanks Jansus

Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
I agree, it sounds like they want the spreadsheet. Remember, you file to court and serve upon the defence, i.e. you need to send: one copy to the court and one copy to the defence.
Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
Hi All,
This is how i got to the point i am currently at:-
03/04/2007 Sent letter requesting statements
statements sent
23/04/07 Sent letter requesting the bank charges plus interest, wih list of them enclosed
30/04/07 reply form a&l not returning charges to me.
04/05/07 Sent reply giving 14 days to return charges or court proceedings
rang a&l to settle before court proceedings, but they said no
18/05/07 Money claim and started proceedings for £1069.81
21/05/07 Notice of issue sent to me
24/05/07 A&L sent me a chq for £185.50, I declined offer and returned chq
25/05/07 received Acknowledgement of service from Wragge and co, with intention to defend
30/05/07 Notice that acknowledgement of service has been filed sent from court to me.
01/06/07 copy of the defence from Wragge and co sent to me
15/06/07 Notice of transfer of proceedings, this has allocation questionaire crossed out
16/06/07 I rang the court to see if i need to do a aq, they said no and that my case was being looked at by the judge who will dcide what will happen next. They said just sit tight and wait to hear from them.
02/07/07 General form of judgement or order snt to me from court, stating that 1. "i shall by 4.00pm on 31/07/07 file and serve a Breakdown schedule of sums claimed. In dfault the claim shall be struck out.
2. The defendant shall by 4.00pm on 31/08/07, fie and serve an ammended defence specifically dealing with sums claimed. I ndefault the defence shall be struck out and judgement may be entered with fixed costs and interests.
And that is where i am upto. Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and any advise at all is much appreciated!!!!!!
Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
Hi
Ive filled in my spreadsheet ready to file to the court, what should i put in my covering letter? and do i need to send copies of my statements as back up for the spreadsheet?
Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
You could use a photocopy of the order as a coversheet. If you take it to the court, the clerks there are really helpful. You don't, I think, need the statements at the moment. Save them for your court bundle.
Re: Judgement of Order Help required, Pleeeaaassse!!
Thanks very much, I rang the court yesterday and they were really helpful, in the end i just sent a covering letter, with the schedule, but i did send my statements with the charges highlighted, do you think this matters?
I also was made an offer by Wragge and co for £485.00, my claim is for £1060, I rang them to see if we could come to a settlement, but he was so rude he just kept cutting me off dead with anything i said, in the end i told him i was'nt going to accept the offer, and he hung up on me, Charming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
