Hi all my first post hope someone can help me with this. I got an unsecured 5000 pound loan in may 06 never missed any repayments but got made redundant fro work after five years in april this year. I have been meeting the repayments from the small amount of redundancy I received but that has ran out and now im only in receipt of benefits (120 pound a fortnight) and cannot afford the repayments of (118 pound a month). I wrote to Lloyds TSB explaining i could no longer afford repayments at the minute and would they give me a six month break from repayment and from added interest or until my employment circumstances changed and i could start repaying the loan. I wrote to them 3 weeks ago but had no reply my loan repayment is due out of bank on the 28th of july and i dont have money to pay it so i presume they will be adding charges and interest. Any advice anyone please? thanks
