just working out my charges to send a scedule to Egg icon

with letter,just wondered if anyone got contractual interest icon

off them?

ive never claimed c interest icon

before because i cant download the spreadsheet,so in my stupidity,i was wondering how to do it manually or is this not possible

It certainly is possible but it will take you ages. Firstly you need to calculate the daily rate. This is got from the formula

Daily rate = (1+APR)^(1/365)

Next, for each charge you need to find the number of days from when the charge was made until now

The interest icon

is then given by the formula

Interest = charge*(1+daily rate)^(no of days) - charge

If you've got about 20 charges it may not be too bad, if you've got hundreds i would persever in trying to get the spreadsheet to work.

(the ^ symbol is 'power of'. In excell it is ^, on scientific calculators it is usually xy (where the y is superscript))

thanks for that,ive only got 27 charges,so i think im gonna have a go without spreadsheet im no chicken so all this is like a new world to me?so if i can grasp what your saying,i need to fing the dailyh rate,then find out how many days since the charge was aplied then?
