Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights

The engine in our 1995 Ford Fiesta blew up. So we took it to the local garage and they got a new one. Then the valves went in the "new" engine and after a month they still haven't fixed it. The car has been up on blocks with the engine taken to bits. We go everyday and everyday we're told it will be ready "by the end of the week". We agreed a price of £175 for the work, even though we feel they put a faulty engine in. Can anyone gice advice on what we can do to resolve the situation? Dx
Re: Garage has had car for a month - still not fixed!
i would enquire at the garage who supplied them the engine and get in touch with the reconditioner direct. and see if you get any joy that way,. was there any guarantee at all?
