Hippo v MBNA

Howdy all

I've got two MBNA icon

credit cards, sent the SAR icon

off for both on the 5th June

Got their reply today, a letter of it's all legal blah blah blah boom boom boom however they're paid £91 into my account in Full and final icon

yada yada yada and enclosed my statements as requested

only it's only one of the accounts and only for two years

even that adds up to £225 odd

what are they like?

polite letter going out to them later this weekend accepting the £91 in partial settlement and asking where the other statements are

How ya doing, they arent too bad at the minute.

What will happen is, they will keep teasing you with small partial payments, up until they reach the total

I can't say I'm very impressed with two years on one card

And putting £91 into my account wasn't exactly teasing, and they've got nearly the full forty days before not complying with my SAR icon

So even in a dodgy field, they're not looking too good at the mo, I hate extra hassle

Roughly how long do they take to get to settling in full?

Mine was done in 2 months ish, settled before they received the Pre Lim.

They arent very good for fulfilling SAR icon

's.

At first i got a full list of transactions, no amounts, just transactions and codes to each transaction,with the first goodwill gesture icon

, then i pestered them and when i received the proper transactions another goodwill gesture icon

to cover the total, i was shocked to say the least.

They cant produce my agreement, so i dont know if they were more accomodating due to that or they were settling now, a few settled at that time from CAG icon

I've written them a stern letter asking for the rest of my statements and respectfully declining their offer

Have you tried copying to an email and sending it to Colin Pugh?

Things happe after he gets involved or seem to as per other threads on here

This one is still a side show for me at present, ain't read nothing about MBNA icon

as suggested I send the text of the letter to Colin Pugh with a brief covering bit of text at last weekend

no reply from either the letter or the email as yet

I dont think they reply to emails, they refer back to it in the letters you receive.

a letter today from one Rachel Claridge, Assistant Vice President

blah blah boom boom oft etc etc

here's £91 on top of the previous £91 good will

cor

and you've guessed it, two years statements on the same account as before

sigh, best pull my finger out and send something curt
