Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi everyone, been reading on A+L for a while but a bit nervous about starting against them due to my overdraft.
sorted another bank account with overdraft facility plus I now have enough cash to cover this so I sent in my SAR on saturday recorded with £10 cheque enclosed,is it normal for A+L not to sign for mail as nothing yet but my recorded lba for MBNA sent at the same time got there ok.
enyone else had this happen and what should I do?
yes very normal - they sent me a questionaire to fill in before sending the statements - and took nearly the full 40 days allowed . Worth a few nudges at the end to make sure you get them.
