    Default tifo vs MBNA (PPI)

I have received a copy of my MBNAicon application form (courtesy of DCAicon) and i note that i ticked 'NO' in the box.

I have now asked for all the PPIicon back plus interesticon at the same rate as on statement.

    Let's see what they say!

    Hi Tifo,

I am also thinking of claiming PPIicon from MBNAicon. I can't actually remember if I agreed to it so have sent a CCA request to them to try and get some info on it. Also, I only work 15 hours a week and I have read somewhere that you need to be working at least 16 hours for it to be of any use.

Good luck with your claim, I shall be watching with interesticon to see how you get on with them.

    Penny.

they're refused saying it was agreed in a telephone conversation at the time of assessment. I've asked for proof as i don't recall this, having ticked 'NO' on the application form.

Oh how convenient for them, and there will probably be no proof of this telephone conversation. That's just what I would expect of MBNAicon, keep at them and don't give up!!
I sent my prelim nearly four weeks ago and am still waiting for a reply which they said I would get by the 27th September so I'm willing to wait till then to see what they come up with.

Surely the only evidence either of you, states no to PPIicon, until proof becomes available i wouldnt of thought they would have a leg to stand on surely?

    Hello All,

MBNAicon are extremely shoddy with their paperwork. If you have evidence that you did not tick the box for PPIicon, its in the bag, but they will try to wriggle out of it anyway.

Keep at them, and stick to your time scales, not theirs. They do have to take you seriously.

I also hope that your will work out the interesticon due from their contractual rate.

    Good luck

I have a copy of the application form which the DCAicon sent me as part of my s.78 request. It's clearly ticked 'NO' for PPI.

I have worked out the balance due to me with statement rate but there is little chance of getting this, as i have to date only received stat interest from anyone, especially through the fosicon.
