Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I filed an N1 re my charges from Cahoot Bank as all correspondence came from Abbey, I used the Abbey registered address of Abbey National House, 2 Triton Square, Regent's Place, London, NW1 3AN.
They had until 2 July to respond, I have heard nothing.
Have I done this incorrectly as I can't believe they wouldn't respond?
Did you file online or in person? Don't worry, they are completely swamped and really struggle to keep to deadlines. You can apply for judgement by default if they don't reply in time. They will probably appeal against this and send through their defense, but at least it will give them a kick up the bum.
