Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Do you have other questions, do you know how to proceed?
Any advice given by me is based solely on my experience in claiming, my experience in CAG or my opinion. I have no legal background. I want to encourage others to reclaim what is theirs.
Got a DCA breaking OFT guidance. Complain to the OFT about the DCA. Help put an end to these practices-
Thanks Kenny and Moneyhelp for your replies. I know the claims process cuz I've won twice before!
I do have another question tho... I have 2 loans with Halifax. I applied for one loan and the interest was 18%. Then having got into even deeper debt I decided to apply for another loan with the Halifax. They gave me the loan and that interest is 18% too. However, I've thought to myself recently about why didn't they top up my original loan instead of me having 2 separate loans and paying 2 lots of interest (the second loan was not to consolidate the first loan, it just consolidated my other debts)? Is there anything that I can claim back for this? What should I state as the reason being?
Since you are already a successful claimant and know what you are doing - I'd suggest that you at least enquire.
It would put your mind at rest, at any rate!
Were I in your position I'm sure that I would - (I'm even going now to claim back one measly £28 on a very short-tem account that lasted just over a year!)

lol. Thanks Dursary. I'm doing the same as you. I claiming back every charge that has ever been levied from me, from loans, hire purchase, everything! The amounts are small but it's still our money at the end of the day!

That's the way.
