Change a claim to from 8% interest to contractual interest?
Hi,
This is my first posting. I began reclaiming bank charges via info on Moneysavingexpert.com.
09.05.07 - sent first letter to A&L listing charges of £743.50 which was rejected.
21.05.07 - threatened court claim - A&L offered £35.00 - which I rejected!
18.06.07 - MCOL claim issued and 8% interest claimed.
21.06.07 - A&L offered the £35.00 again and £80.00 court fee.
22.06.07 - Wragge & Co intention to defend.
29.06.07 - Wragge & Co served what appears to be a standard defence.
From reading many informative threads I wonder if I should have claimed at the contractual rate of interest. Can I still do this or am I too far in to the process. If I can change what is the procedure and what calculator do I use?
