Default reclaimed once, should i reclaim again??

    hi,

i used this very helpful forum when i reclaimed about £1600 earlier this year from HSBCicon when i settled out of court for about 90% of the total.

my question is - since then i have probably been charged about another £200, should i attempt to reclaim again? or is it too much trouble?

    thanks,

    tom

    Hi Tom

You can start the claim process again. They may settle just by making a phone callicon and asking for them back.

this happened to my daughter with Barclaysicon.just because you claim back charges, it appears that they will not stop charging them!! so we claimed them all back and she got them without having to go to court. the standard first letter did the trick. just doing the same again now for my son.

The only problem that I can see in claiming again is that the bank may produce the 'if you cannot agree with our terms & conditions' line and may try and close the account.

I'm just trying to claim for a second time against Halifaxicon. My deadline for them to comply with the lbaicon is tomorrow!! I understand they're not closing accounts now due to it being seen as retaliatory action for which the financial organisations can be fined

    Go for it !!!

    jaxads

Halifax - £2281, successfully refunded all charges after LBA letter & telephone call.
Have been offered the difference between the £20 and £12 charges from Capital One -- am sending LBA for remainder.
GE Money - Received settlement of £441, being total charges requested. No interest though.
CCA'd Bank of Scotland / Blair Oliver Scott to produce CCA Agreements on two Credit Cards - well in default, although still chasing payment!!!
EOS Solutions "ceased action on account" on behalf of a friend.

All in all, quite busy at the moment and enjoying every minute of it
