This is exactly what I pointed out in my recent letter to A&L, probably hoping that I could prick their conscience into give me my money back. Hasn't made anything happen yet, maybe if they read what was said on the BBC website and couple that with the same comments coming from 1,000's of claimants...........who knows whether common sense will finally prevail.

. A&L, amongst other banks, don't have a conscience. They probably don't even read the letters that are sent by us. I know it took HFC three attempts to actually answer what I had said in my first letter.

I've just read the article, and agree that the banks do not have a conscience. I think we need to bear in mind that bank employees at the higher echelons of power are stakeholders in their place of work! PRP and all that jazz......
