Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Would not comment on whether anybody has sucessfully done this - but obviously not recommended by this site - See FAQ and step by step instructions. This is a self help site and those on here try and adhere to its recommendations.

Hi
I don't think any court would be too impressed with this as you have to have lodged a complaint with the bank and be seen to give it a reasonable chance to deal with your complaint. Hence the 2 letters and the 14 days inbetween each.
Hope this helps explain it

Hi, Does Anyone Know If You Can Just Issue Proceedings Without Sending lba's Etc First.
If you try that tack, your case will be thrown out of court.
You are required to take all reasonable steps to obtain settlement out of court. These letters are designed to do that, and allows a reasonable time for settlement, prior to court action, which is the final step.
If you want to win, then spend a few days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide in the library section.
If you follow our well-tried and tested route, then you WILL be successful.
Start ad-libbing and you will only have yourself to blame when things go pear-shaped.
