Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I received a letter from my local court earlier this week stating that the case was being transferred to Cardiff county court.
the letter states:
upon the courts own motion. The Court has made this order of its own initiative without a hearing. if you object to the order, you must make an application to have it set aside, varied or stayed within 7 days of receiving it.
IT IS ORDERED THAT
1. Directions will be given in this case by the Designated Civil Judge, His Honor Judge XXXXXXXXXX, on the 14th August 2007 at 10:30am at Cardiff Civil Justice Centre.
2. The parties may appear in person or make written representations as to how the case should proceed provided a copy of the representations is sent to the Court and the other side at least 7 working days prior to the hearing.
Could someone please help me as i don't really understand what this is saying.
Do i need to submit the court bundles to the court and Wragge & Co?
also look at general/mercantile hearing today as this was a directions hearing - although in a different type of court.
I also saw a thread on HSBC where they prepared a mini bundle - try also putting "directions hearing" in as a search and read some of the threads that come up
