Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just received my allocation questionnaire and have been filling it out. I started having a look for all my documentation and proof of the charges made on the account and realised that I have mislaid the bank statements I was sent!!! I have no proof unless I ask for them to send them to me again and that could take ages!! So I won't be able to submit a court bundle!
Does anyone have any advice on this? I have received a letter from Cahoot saying that they will give me 65% of my claim and I figure now I have no choice but to accept this as I don't have all the correct paperwork to take to court! Gutted! Just thought I'd double check to see if anyone had any suggestions before I write to Abbey.
Hi,
It can take upto 6 six weeks sometimes longer to receive a court date from the court so if it was me i would carry on with the aq and claim, also request your statements again as they may be back in time in case you have to submit a bundle.
This is only my opinion. see what others think.
best of luck
