Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I started to reclaim my charges about 2 months ago and have had all the letters sent to me and now its ended up as GOING TO COURT. Has anyone else been to court and what was the outcome etc ?
I havent had a date set, but just wandering what to do, do i just wait untill the court contact me again to set a date or is there somethin else i can do?

Jus recieved an offer of £912 when they have actually charged me £3100. wont be accepting that, should i carry on all the way
Hi Paul im at about the same stage as you ive had my claim transfered to court but still awaiting a date.
If you spend some time reading some of the threads on this forum especially those on the main page (sorry not sure how to attach links) they will explain what is likely to happen now. There are several people at this stage and plenty of clever people willing to give advice and encouragement
If you have a read of my thread it may help as theres links on there on the court bundle and allocations questionaire. Hope that helps
Good luck !
Nicky
sorry forgot this bit, reject their offer they always make silly offers at first as i guess some have accepted it. There are some rejection templates on the main page too!
Hi dont be daft ur not thick thats me! yes their are links to the templates but not sure what they are but you can find them this way;
at the top of this screen under the please donate sign is a box, click on the bit that says The Bank Action Group- against unlawful bank charges, once on that page scroll down til you see the section called Template library theres loads of things in there so just find the one you need:-|
Hope that helps
Nicky
You are not being thick - I still find getting all the up to date info a bit difficult some times.
Under the bank claim forums - read FAQ (in red) and Step by step instructions and there are link backs to the letters in there. Also you can go straight to the library section ( 6 reject letters) and choose the templates appropriate to you ( adapt if necessary)
I would also recommend reading the "sticky threads "in the General section. Also there is a sub section for mercantile court ( may not be applicable but is interesting for peoples experiences in court and link backs)
finally keep reading all our threads here on A&L
Then come back if you have further questions.
