I have an account that was only open for 18 months, and closed in 29/5/03 - Just spoke to GE Money and they said that they do not keep this information on file for that long ....
Is that correct, if not what can I do to get them back ?

Welcome to the store cards forum.
GE Money are a complete shambles. Don't deal with them by phone - send a SAR and follow up with non-compliance letters if you need to. Keep us posted and we'll take it from there

Im in the same situation they have sent me statements from 2002 to 2005 but not the last 2 years, When suprise surprise all my charges were added. I rang them on normal customer services number only to be told that they dont have statements for last 2 years. I have tried calling them now on 0113 344 7766 which is supposed to be a direct line to the department that deal with this. The person who deals with this is supposed to be calling me back today before five o clock as they are on a break ! . what a joke if they dont call me today i will report them to the information commissioner and send a letter of non compliance. Will keep you posted
