    Default ppi on credit cards

    i am despartly trying to pay off 3 cards

    each month i am pretty disgusted at how much of my payment goes to PPIicon plans.

    while im sure i did sign up for them, can i now cancell the insurance to speed up paying off the cards

    Hi ,

    Yes you can cancel the PPIicon as i have just done it with Capital Oneicon.
    I just sent them an e-mail and they cancelled it for me.

    You should be able to cancel the PPIicon, If you have any problems Have a look around the PPI forum..

    The PPIicon is a rip, basically what they do is hope that you take that and only pay the minimum. This leaves a tiny part of your payment coming off the balance each month. Chuck in the odd late fee and the debt will not die!
