Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Sent my Subject access request letter to Halifax on 16.04.07 and eventually got a reply last week (13.06.07). They have sent me a single sheet listing bank charges and date debited since April 2001, not a complete set of statements. Charges total 1607 pounds.
The problem I'm having now is when I try to complete the spreadsheet I've downloaded I do not have interest charges or my account balance and the time of charge to enter in the interest part of spreadsheet.
Should I write my Request for Payment only for the charges and leave the interest columns blank.? If so what happens if I get to the stage of filing a claim as I cannot calculate the interest amount.
