Hi, can anyone help me please - have spent the last 6 weeks going over Lloyds TSB threads and as my claim is almost won (settlement letter in the post) am turning my attention towards our Egg card.
My online statements only go back 12 months so am going to have to issue a SAR. Over the last 12 months we have had 10 overlimit charges of £16.00 each. Can someone please tell me what exactly you can claim back from Egg. Can I claim back these charges or are they OK? Also is there anything else I can ask for?
Getting greedy now!!
You will get back from Egg a letter asking you to choose between £5 one-page transaction listing, or £10 full statements. The latter will be better if you intend to reclaim interest at the correct (fluctuating) rate. The save time you could specify your £10 or £5 preference along with the SAR.
Egg will also probably ask for 2 bills proving you are who you are. Online Egg does not send out statements, so a cardholder could have moved house 10 years ago and Egg would be no wiser.
