Default Charges of 1500. Help!

Please could some one advise me on how to claim bank charges of one thousand five hundred pounds. I know this is too much for the small claims courts. This amount is the total from two accounts. One totalling five hundred and twenty pounds and one of nine hundred and eighty. Should I claim both accounts together or separately. I live in Scotland. Does this make a difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Stevieboy, as they are seperate accounts you should treat each account as a seperate case. Not sure what you have done so far but issue prelim letter then LBA letter for each account.

The account for £520 you can action through small claims and the account for £980 you can raise a summary cause action.

If you have not already done so take a good look through FAQ's as you will find almost all the information you require and should you need to help just ask, you will no doubt get the answers you are looking for.

Good luck
Liam.
