Hi I am at the first stage of writing to the bank, I have all my bank statements since I joined this bank. I have used the first letter which I copied and pasted from the list of letters, I have also filled in the easy scotland spreadsheet. Have I used the right forms for my first letter as my neice showed me the ones she used for her bank.

In that case just submit your schedule of charges - don't worry at all about ANY interest at this stage - the O/D interest on a claim of £345 will not be worth the trouble anyway.

Default LLoyds TSB

I sent my first letter to LLoyds TSB and got a reply saying that they have asked the FSA to suspend the normal timetable for dealing with bank charges complaints with relate to unauthorised overdraft fees. They are saying that the £35.00 charges for returned direct debits is a fair charge for a banking service. Can you advise me what I should do next. They are waiting till the outcome of the court case before they do any further dealings.

That's all standard stuff - the advice here is to proceed as normal; if a stay is granted there is some good stuff here have it set aside
AQs - Stays & Strike out request

And

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...rum-stays.html

If these fail at least you will be near the top of the pile when the OFT wins the case

This thread is getting too confusing refering to letters by their numbers - but sounds to me like time for Letter Before Action - you may want to have a look in the scottish forum as well
