Re: End of tenancy Hello. Not sure how much you paid, but is it worth leaving to chance, if it was myself, i would be present when the landlord/landlady came to do the inventory, that way i would know of any thing that might need challanging, since you are all leaving on differant dates, couldnt you decide among urselves for one of you to return on all of ur behalves, and wittness the inventory been made, i'm sure you could all sign a letter to that affect, that way someone is there when the land person arrives, if any costs is involved you could share that between you, but it will safe guard any moneis you might all be due after leaving. I wouldnt leave to chance that the land person would be honest, not that all would try to rip people off, but you hear so many stories nowadays. hence why the new laws on depoists came out this year.
If you want to get your full moneis back, i suggest you be there when the inventory is compelled. Remember to take photos and make notes of anything you think is worth noting, incase of dispute. you will have a copy of the inventory when you 1st moved in, between you, you can go round the house/flat to make sure things match and are as when you started the agreement.
