Question Help Required????? court fee??

ok if am sending forms to court to cliam possession of property under section 21(4)a, there is a fee of £150, on the form you can cross out the bit where it says claim the fee back from the tenant, is it possible i can get a cheque of £150 off the tenant to send with the forms for the court fee???

is that possible, can i do that??



would appreciate help urgently

It doesnt matter where the money comes from as long as it is paid. However, it bewilders me why you would do this, or why you think the tenant would do this!!

thanks mrshed

to be fair the tenant has been ok, but i do want to make sure the property is empty soon as, so can't realy be giving more & more time, am only paying the fee because of the tenant not leaving quick, i wouldn't have to go through this & why should i have to pay the £150 upfront.

You pay it because youre bringing the case to court and thats what you want to do!
Leave the bit on the claim form that states you want the charge claimed back from the tenant, and that way you will get your fee back.

Whay wont he leave anyway?
