Credit Checks

hi guys, was wondering if someone could help me out?

Ive aplied to rent a house and the agents said they will do a credit check on me.

Will it matter that i have a few defaults? or do they just look for CCJs?

Ive applied with another two people and they have good credit, will this work in my favour?

When i phoned up and asked how long the application would take to process they said not long and that the credit check takes minutes and they no straight away, so assume that they must do a quick check online, does the quick check bring up defaults?

I no i can get a gaurantor but dont really want to go down that route.

Any help would be appreciated

should be ok... my other half has lousy credit and we always pass the credit check ok. even after i just moved here and had no credit i passed ok.

Hey Guys,

Just thought i would let you all no the good news!

I passed my credit check with the landlord!

I dont no how beacuse my credit is very bad, im thinkin maybe they only look for CCJ's.

Anyway, its all good.
