Unhappy 10 month contract paid for frst6month left early
HI,
I am student and I have 10 month contract for renting a room in a shared house I have paid deposit plus 6month rent already, but left the place after living in the house for almost 4 month.landlord is not happy to offer me any deal, its too much for me to loose.
can someone help please.

I have advertised the room and tried to find someone but landlord has very strict policy , he wants the tenant to pay deposit plus 3month rent in advance , !!!(this was the same for me when i had to sign the contract)

if the landlord can't find anyone else (which for a student property mid-year will be tricky) then you are liable for the rent till the end of the contract. Why did you move out?

due to some family problem I coldnt continue studying there and ended up moving back home,however I may move there some time next year (propably)
