I've used it to great success in the past.
Officially the MP can't do anything, but he can call the right people and get things moving. |

| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: Antisocial behaviour I've had problems of noise from the neighbour above me since moving into my current council flat and he's made my, my partner and our 2 month old son's life a living hell. He's had four stereos siezed by environmental health due to noise, threatened us, got his mates to smash our kitchen and rear door windows and much more. Complained to the council and so far they have warned him several times, served a notice seeking possession which they then converted to a warning after he signed an acceptable behaviour contract which he has broken. And still they do nothing. Interestingly in a recent survey 75% of their tenants were unhappy with the antisocial behaviour policy. Pretty obvious why
I can truly sympathise with your plight but all you can do really is keep reporting to the relavant people and keep logs of incidents as people have said
I actually filed a claim with the county courts against my landlords for their apparent toleration and endorsement of his behaviour and the distress suffered to my family. They are in the process of settling this claim out of court with me having admitted partial liability (next I'm claiming against the person who is actually responsible for his behaviour: Him!). Not saying this will work with you but it may get the landlords attention
