Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 99	Pest control and wrecked house Hi, I am a landlady of a property that I have owned for 18 months. Before taking over the house it used to be a very beautiful 2 bed terraced, howver I took the property over from a friend who need the money and I got the propery cheep. The tennant who was in the property has WRECKED it beyone belief. I am trying to remortuage the property to raise a deposit for my new house. When the surveyer went round so did I. The tennant complained of the house being over run with mice. He has ran the house into such a state that in the kitchen there was food fat with overgrown green mould growing off it. I am horrified that the house is in this state. The tennant has 5 months to run on his lease. I have heard that if the tennant is on social and they wreck the house but still living in it, I can raise an issue to the social and they will help towards the cleaning costs - it needs fumigating. I wont tell you what was in the bath with mould on it???? Can anyone help in this matter Regards Danler
