Fencing on rented property help

newbie here
ok lets get this done, me and my family live in a rented property with in next to an a redway that leads to the local secondary school unfortunatly these pupils like to kick balls and general kick in the fence. Now we have contacted the letting agent many many times about the fence being down they did send someone out one to repair it but since then the whole fence has been pulled down and the letting agent at first accused my wife as being a target of a hate campaign then they send someone out to measure up again only for my wife to be told that actually no we the tennent are kicking in the fence firstly the fence is behind a row of fir trees and my children are 5 and 6 show lack the length in leg to kick it. Now they refuse to repair it can anyone give me advice on what to do next.Thank you in advance

Yes. This is criminal damage and should be treated as such.

The landlord/agent by the way have no obligation to keep repairing this.

That would depends on the terms in the Lease that was initially signed between the OP + the Landlord methinks...

True, but very very unlikely for the landlord to have an agreement that would oblige him to perform these kind of repairs.

MY initial thoughts are external security +/or deprivation of the peaceful enjoyment of any garden etc...btw.
These are pretty bog-standard terms used (...or very similar) in many Rental Agreements that I, personally, have come across.

IMO, most tenancy agreements will not cover vandalism/criminal damage. They will cover disrepair - this is not disrepair.

That said, insurance SHOULD cover it, but will not indefinitely - the police need to get involved, assume you agree thats the first port of call MTM ?

There is a similar walkway to aschool near where I live. The fences were always getting kicked in. After the residents complaining to the school everytime something happened the school eventually put a teacher on duty there for half an hour every morning and at the end of the day when pupils were leaving. As far as I know apart from a small amount of graffitti that appeared overnight the fences are still intact some months down the line.
Have you mentioned anything to the school?
