Default Landlord problems

I moved into my property in Febuary. It was advertised as a 3 bedroom house with garage. It was not advertised as furnished however the owner has left loads of items in the house. These are on the inventory. I have been trying to get these things removed because they take up half the garage and 1 bedroom. Where do I stand? If I wanted a 2 bedroom house without a garage I would of got one. All i want is the furniture and other bits removed. This stuff wasnt on the advert nor was it mentioned on the viewing.

Write you landlord a letter stating that if its not removed in 7 days you will throw it out. Next Tuesday/Wednesday if the stuffs still there throw it. Problem solved. Three bed house with a garage.

dont throw anything out or it could be you being sued. you have an inventory with all these items on, did you acknowledge acceptance of the inventory? does you actual agreement say furnished?

Make sure you get everything in writing, deliver by hand or send it recorded delivery. Give landlord a set time to respond in writing, etc..

Did you not view the property before signing the lease, was this stuff there and what was said about it? Was it advertised as unfurnished? If the owner wanted leave stuff there it can only be by agreement. Was a n invetory completed of the condition of any fixtures and fittings and did it include this stuff. Normally this signed by you and the agent or landlord.
Suggest as above you give landlord notice to move it or prferably come to some other amicable arrangement. He might not renew lease etc.
